Are you looking for an effective way to learn how to build financial models? If so, you’ve come to the right place. This Pivotal180 course was specifically crafted to teach you the fundamentals of financial modeling, an essential task that allows you or your organization to analyze data and make informed decisions. We’ll get you from having no financial modeling experience to understanding many of the essential concepts. We’ll also provide you with the tools you need to be an efficient modeler, including the different tricks, Excel shortcuts, and financial modeling best practices. The course is based on a practical case study, so you can apply your knowledge right away. After completing this course, you’ll be able to set up a financial model from a blank spreadsheet, forecast revenues and expenses for a startup battery recycling business, calculate unlevered and levered returns, run what if analysis known as scenarios and sensitivities. You can change assumptions and assess the impact on your business. Use a financial model to determine appropriate pricing for your products. Develop 3-way financial statements for your business and analyze what they mean. Produce outputs to communicate the model outputs to the decision makers.
When you buy this or any other Pivotal180 course, you gain access to the online course platform. You have three options for how to take the Financial Modeling Fundamentals course. You could do the online self-paced course. Just sign up and complete it at your own pace, or join a public instructor-led class. This could be in person or via several Zoom sessions. This version also includes access to the online self-paced course, but it allows for more discussion as well as homework and full case studies. Or you could arrange a course specifically for your organization, either in person or via Zoom. It has all of the benefits of the public classes but can be tailored specifically to your needs.
