What is News Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) The Inflation Reduction Act arrived unexpectedly, but in the view of most participants in this sector, it was a pleasant(ish) surprise. The best thing undoubtedly from the Act is that we have some transparency as to what the future holds with respect to tax credits. Gone (for a while at least) is the nervous wait at the end of the year to see what is in store for the following year or two. However, as with all sudden changes in law, there is a lot to unpack and to consider. For example:
Luckily for you we have been (and will continue) creating content specific to these topics. The first blogs highlighting key changes from the Inflation Reduction Act and impacts on Green Hydrogen are on our website. We publish these regularly via LinkedIn so please follow us. We are also in the process of updating our tax material in our renewable energy and tax equity courses to reflect the changes. Exciting times ahead! |
